Personal trainer of 15+ years and Mum of 2.
After working in commercial gyms for years I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands – Mums deserve better. Better care; greater knowledge; more compassion and less of the harmful ‘no pain no gain’ and ‘bounce back’ mentality.
After I had my first child, I realised very quickly that regular exercise was not as acheiveable as it had once been. I knew the do's and don'ts of returning to exercise port partum but actually finding a way to be consistent amidst the chaos of motherhood was a whole different ball game!
I wanted to progress towards greater fitness, strength and health in a way that not only served me, but that worked for my family too.
I wanted balance.
This is where Mum and Mini Fitness was envisaged – out of my desire to offer to other's what I wish I had access to myself.
